Discussion: Trump Might Be Getting Impeached!

Pelosi sat on the articles for almost a month and now she is sending them in today. This is just political bs at this point.

there’s literally nothing there, main reason the impeachment wasn’t even necessary. pelosi was probably hesitant to hand it over. honestly, he won’t get impeached out of office, and will stay until his first term is over. my honest opinion.

All it’s going to do is allow how him to run this “poor me I’m the victim look at how the Democrats treat me” narrative that might help him get votes!

Yup, to try and boost his poll numbers he had his victim complex going, he tried to start a war but Iran wasn’t as crazy or desperate as him so it didn’t work and yet still, it looks like he might actually have a chance to win.

What a world

Exactly, it’s a political gain stunt that backfired on the dems. They seriously thought this would end in their favor but they just hurt their candidates even more now that the senators who are running have to sit in on the trial until it’s over.

Even my mother says that the impeachment is a sham :joy:

Another update: Trump’s defense team went on the offense. They have a weak argument, but it seems like the ball is their court for now…

I just want him not president anymore! What’s taking so long? Ugh! :expressionless:

Pelosi was acting a fool and delayed the sending of the impeachment articles. If she did it sooner, it probably wouldn’t be taking this long.

Impeachment trials often take a while too

Agreed. But now the articles are sent, the trial is being held, which will take… a while. There’s opening arguments, testifying, witnesses, etc…

Wanted to say that I enjoy your posts about politics. Find myself agreeing on a lot of stuff, even tho I hold different political beliefs.

But yep. I dunno what is it with dems lately. One stupid decision after another, on both collective and a lot of individual levels. Maybe they are oriented on the more vocal group of politically engaged people, which, let’s be fair, is just that, small and very fucking loud. It seems as they completely ignore regular people and working class, focusing not just on minorities, but on minority of minorities, thinking working class will vote based on these acts of superficial compassion for oppressed and publicity stunts.

Oh and well, Trump won’t be impeached, 99%, you don’t have to have a political degree to understand it. He will also most likely to be re-elected. So um. Good job dems xD

Lmao our voting system and everything like that is rigged and messed up lmao. Lot of people don’t like Trump, even when he was running, yet he won.

I didn’t hear anyone crying about your voting system when others were winning :woman_shrugging:

That’s beside the point I guess. I’m not qualified in this part, and I don’t really know why is it like it is.

Not a lot of people talk about the fact that a lot of companies and stuff pay the candidates to say particular things at the elections.

I was always thinking that candidates say particular stuff to be sponsored

But actually this is one of the things I liked about Trump, is that he was sponsoring himself.

My mom says that the reason Trump won was because Hilary was so corrupt.

That’s one of the reasons. But it wasn’t just her being bad at compaining. It was him being good at it. He did well in taking down other reps, he knew what to say to appeal to certain groups of people. And it’s with media slandering him 24/7. I mean you can think whatever you want about the guy, and his personal qualities and morals, but you can’t deny he is smart, and played his cards well. Dems are doing even worse this year. They don’t have a standing-out candidate, like Trump, so it would make more sense to team up and help one of them to be elected, but they are too busy taking each other down or talking about “issues” majority of voters doesn’t care about.
