“You have a shelter?” I asked that as a rethorical question just to let him know I was listening the whole time since I easily look uninterested no matter how much interest I take in the conversation taking place. I quickly say “Let’s head on then. Who knows, maybe luck will strike us when none of us expect it.”
I nod for her to join me and walk off with her towards my shelter. Whenever searching for food or anything of importance I never went too far away from my shelter. A few minutes of thick vegetation later and we were looking at the back of a muddy pile of sticks formed into a triangle. “It’s much more beautiful from the front.” I say as I lead her towards the big shelter and showing her the wide, empty room inside where a small fire is at play, not enough to panick me into putting more leaves and paper on it, but still not too big to be a danger to me or the hut.
