Princess Estella Lyndon

Though later than initially intended due to the princess nearly falling and splitting her skull while tearing her dress, Estella was finally approaching the school her father chose to send her to. As soon as the flower covered carriage arrived at the school, it was clear that that the coachman knew the princess quite well, for once he had brought the horses to a full stop he quickly went to help the princess while the footman gathered her luggage to take inside. He made sure to grab ahold of her and carefully help her from the carriage so she would not fall. The princess was wearing a nice green dress, and though she could have worn a tiara on her first day, she chose to wear a daisy crown instead. After all, she wouldn’t want to risk breaking a tiara on her first day. Estella sweetly said goodbye to the coachman she had known since she was a young child, before the death of her mother even, then said a soft farewell to the horses before carefully walking into the school. This would be a very new experience for Estella, and if she was lucky a chance to show that she was capable of more than her kingdom and father thought. Though she knew that her only chance to ever show that she could be a good queen, was likely if she married into the throne somewhere. If that was what came of all this, she would make the most of it, plus her father would likely welcome the opportunity for an alliance through marriage. As she walked up, she was in awe of the grandeur of the school. Though she was used to grand buildings as a princess, the school was still quite different from what she was used to, since in Rhytora most buildings had various plants growing on the walls, and some buildings even had trees growing within them. She was unaccustomed to how the world was beyond her kingdom, having only read about a few other kingdoms, and with the last time she was even beyond the borders of her kingdom she was just a young child. Estella walked up the front steps of the school, and nearly tripped over her own feet, which brought her attention to a girl ahead of her wearing armor with a sword at her side. Estella looked her over, likely with a perplexed look upon her face. She had only ever seen men handle a blade, or even wear armor for that matter. “Are you a soldier? Or do you wear armor and a weapon just because it is interesting?”

Sebastian Carlyle

A carriage pulled up to the front of the school. Inside was Sebastian, a young man who would officially claim his father’s title any day. Sebastian truly expected that within a few days he would receive word of his father’s death. His father had been fairing worse by the day. Sebastian had mixed emotions about coming to this academy. A part of him wished to be by his father’s side, while another was relieved to have some space away from home, yet he did fear that though the great distance from home, his secret would still get back to them somehow. Because with the introduction of new individuals from other kingdoms, he could meet some who would make it much harder to ignore his own desires. He just had to hope that he could ignore temptation as he began to acquaint himself with the layout of the school. He couldn’t afford to be a disgrace to his family. He would lose them all, and it would force his sister down a path with only a single option. He couldn’t handle forcing her into a life she wouldn’t want, which meant that he had to keep up with the high expectations his parents set for him for as long as he could.

Rafaela peaceful stared out the window. She couldn’t wait to arrive at the school. She hoped nobody would see her getting out of the car with that useless older brother of hers. She glimpsed over at him. He caught her eye.
“What are you thinking about, dearest little sister?”
She rolled her eyes and looked back over at the window. “Something a good-for-nothing wouldn’t be worried about.”
She couldn’t wait till she got out of the carriage she couldn’t stand being in here with him.

“Oh, dear.” Cecile said flatly. She stood aimlessly in front of the academy, looking as if she were waiting for someone. She stared at the bird that lay on the ground. It was wounded and it looked helplessly at her, begging her to save it’s life.
The bird looked at her in hopes that she would save it from it’s ultimate fate. The girl hesitated and was about to rescue it when a carriage rolled over it.
Cecile chuckled darkly at her own thoughts. She moved foward just as a carriage came by and rolled over the poor thing.
She stopped and looked down as she muttered. “Poor thing. Oh, well. That’s just Mother Nature calling.”

Completely shocked Ali has no idea what to do. Looking around, she notices the door to a closet. “Come with me.” She takes his hand and drags him over to the closet. Opening the door, she shoves him in and gets in herself. Quickly closing the door. Until she notices that it’s very dark and small. Ali fumbles around for a lightswitch and flicks it on. She’s completely smushed against this random guy. Trying to calm herself down, she does some quick breathing exercises.

“I- I am so sorry.” She quickly turns around, heading for the door. “I shouldn’t have gotten in here.” She can feel her anxiety acting up. She fumbles with the door handle but can’t seem to get it open. Even though it’s not locked. Giving up on the handle, she leans her head against the door.

“No, I have no idea what we’re supposed to do. I think we maybe go to our dorms?” Gia says weakly. “I just got here,” she gives a slight smile. “I’m Eulogia Woods. But everyone calls me Gia. You might’ve heard of me. But probably not.” She looks around and remembers her basket. “Can I offer you a muffin from our bakery?” She reaches into her basket and pulls out a muffin. But in her haste her basket falls to the floor and a few pastries fall on the floor. “Oh dear. I- I am so sorry.” Gia gets down on her knees and starts picking up the fallen food.

Harper finally pulled up to the academy. She took the sights in, and she couldn’t help but think back to Xusian and how she ALREADY missed home. She brushed her outfit off, checking to see if it was still spotless. Her outfit was a little rumpled from the journey to the academy, and you could tell she was already a little embarrassed. She shook her head and continued down the pathway towards the academy.

Once she reached the academy, she looked around for people to speak with. She wore a look of confusion on her face as she struggled to find her way around the academy. She took out her handbook and flipped through the pages, searching for her dorm room.

“
No
 No
” She let out a frustrated sigh. “
This is so irritating
” She kept flipping through the pages until she finally came across the dorm section. A feeling of relief washed over her and she continued to read it. With a smile, she took a look around the academy before going to the dorms.

“Everything is so organized

Feeling rather pleased with herself, Lucy skipped toward the building. She realized that this wasn’t the one she saw at the entrance and paused. Luckily for her there was someone standing there with what appears to be a map in their hands.

“It’s fine
” Malo muttered, not really sure what else to say as even after a year of having the title it still felt weird to be called Prince. Let alone ‘My prince’. That sounded like he was some kind of prince charming ushered out of a romantic novel.
The complete opposite of who Malo actually was.

As the cakes fell onto the ground, Malo instinctively dropped to one knee to help pick them up, but something about the girls name and the strangely familiar smell of the muffins
 Malo frowned. “Woods
You don’t mean the Woods Bakery, do you? Of course I know that name, you’re practically famous in the city, well
your bakery at least.” He smiled, handing her the muffins he had picked up as memories slowly came back to him. "I remember the first time my mother took me to that place. The smell was amazing, and the bakers were showing some of the homeless people how to make bread, they gave out the bread for free at the end
" The Woods family were probably one of the only noble people Malo had met who he believed truly deserved the title. Maybe that was bias because he had grown up on the outskirts of the city, very much one of the common folk until the war changed everything for him, but it didn’t change his admiration for the family. He was glad that one of their children were here. it made him feel that little bit less alone.
Even so

“What brings you here? I thought the Woods family were doing really well, last I heard, and I doubt there’s anything more you could learn baking wise that you don’t already know.” Don’t say she’s been forced to go here as well

Musa and Kanika

“Shall we go to our rooms, Sister?” Musa asked, grabbing Kanika’s bags for her and taking her hand. Kanika rolled her eyes at him and grabbed her bags out of his hand. “I’m not a child anymore, Musa. I can carry my own luggage.” She said even as she doubled over under the weight of the bags. She looked up at the bright, imposing doors of the Academy. “I should think I’d like to explore the school a bit first. Would you accompany me?” “Of course I will. It is my duty.” Musa said in that over-serious way of his. Kanika rolled her eyes again and pulled him along as the two walked arounf the school.

As they walked around, Musa couldn’t help but get the feeling that the two were being watched. He looked over his shoulder and gasped as he saw a girl in a bland, yellow chiffon dress following them, her face eerie and intently focused. He would have confronted her, but Mother had warned them about how sensitive the Mainlanders were. If this girl was somebody important and he displeased her or her kingdom, he could end up starting another war, and this time Ujamaa was getting sucked in.

The girl seemed to realize that she looked suspiscious and suddenly came around in front of Musa and his sister, stopping them in their tracks. Musa stepped in front of Kanika to protect her. It had become an instict.

The girl stood before them with a goofy smile. “Hello, there. My name is Lemon.” She said simply. “I like your colorful clothes. What kingdom might you be from?”

“Don’t be a prude, Musa.” Kanika said to her brother. “Look at her! She’s harmless!” She stepped out from behind her brother and gave a quick curtsy to the girl, not yet knowing her station. “I am Kanika Mshindi III, Crown Princess of Ujamaa. You probably haven’t heard of it.” She joked. She looked the girl up and down. “I enjoy your clothes as well. They’re quite charming. The young woman across from him scoffed. “Good grief, Sanchie. You’re about to start a whole new chapter of your life, and all you can think about is doom and gloom! Can’t you lighten up just for a bit?”

Sanchion looked up at his sister and smiled a bit. “I would, Saminta, but I think I lack the ability to.” He leaned back in his seat, folding his hands behind his head. “The prospect of positivity defys my very nature.”

Saminta rolled her eyes at him. “You’re such a child, Sanchie. You’ve just turned 22, and yet you’re still a pouty child.” She thought for a minute. “Do you have everything packed? Paints, charcoals, easel?” Sanchion nodded and peeked out through the black velvet curtains. The Academy was getting closer and closer, looming high above them. His stomach churned, and Saminta seemed to noticed. She reached out and gently took his hand, squeezing it as if to send a bit of her energy into his body. “You’ll be okay, Sanchion. And if you’re not, just send me a letter, and I’ll come to take you home right away.”

Sanchion flushed and pulled his hand away, turning towards her. “You don’t need to do that. You won’t have to.” He insisted.

Saminta rolled her eyes at his pride. “Oh, yes, of course I won’t.” She said sarcastically. The carriage pulled to a stop and Sanchion grabbed his bags, making to exit the carriage. She caught his arm before her could open the door. “I’ll always be here.” She said sincerely, and he turned to look back at her. “You know that, right?”

“Of course.” Sanchion said, and he kissed her on the cheek before stepping out of the carriage and into the Academy’s long, dark shadow. And the carriage sped off towards home behind him, his heart raced. No turning back now.
